God's Presence

I am a 30-year St. Mary's member who attends the 5pm service. For years my creative outlet was the flower guild creating colorful arrangements that graced the altar. With free time after my sons left home, I began watercolor classes at the Alexandria Art League. Five years later - family and friends are amazed - "who knew Wendy could paint!

Nature has emerged as feature in my work - particularly during the pandemic. Preserving the calm and constant reminder that "nature is doing her best to keep us well! "Cardinals" was this year's Christmas card depicting a colorful calm amidst the chaos.
