Peggy (Margaret) Adams Parker

Speak, Lord, your servant is listening

God's presence

Peggy Parker has been a parishioner at St Mary's for over 30 years, a working artist for almost 40 years, and an adjunct instructor at Virginia Seminary for 30. Her art often depicts religious and social justice themes.

This etching depicts the boy Samuel's response when he finally understands that the Lord God is the voice calling his name in the dark of the temple. I pray that we may all, in these hard times, listen and respond to God's call.
